Today was the day of a commemorative hike to Blencathra (commemorating Grammy). It was a very nice and sunny day in the Lake District. I got along very well with all of the Hiking Club (including the Ladybird Girl, who offered me a Mars Bar). I talked with more people than usual. On the way down, we all lay on the grass in the sun. I got along with the Hiking Club extraordinarily well, which repaired my opinion of the club. Perhaps it was the recent tragedy itself which had shaken everyone out of their previous neuroticism and pettiness.

On the way back, I was listening to the radio on my portable cassette player, and today's theme song came on. However, I didn't know which version it was. Eventually the one that was by far the most likely was chosen as the official theme song.

* I made a new theory of life needing energy to maintain separation, and that “consciousness” moves to the closest awareness point (which is usually your closest future self, but if you die then it moves into someone or something else).
