This was the first month to be officially given a theme of the month, so the idea of having a theme for each month was actually invented over fourteen years after the diaries started. Subsequently, having a representative day of the month and a yearly essential playlist only happened after this, because they are based on themes of the months.

On top of this, April 2018 was the first time I noticed a phenomenon in which the 1st place, 2nd place and last place prizes were on consecutive days (in this case, they were the 7th, 8th and 9th days of the month). Also, seven ate nine, so...
