Apart from the first day, I had thought maybe this month would beat the record of September 2014's average rating. It ended up technically doing so, but just barely, by the smallest possible margin, so the official figure shows an equal value.
In exact values, August 2018 got an average of 9130⁄31 while September 2014 got an average of 9129⁄30, but they both round to 91.97.
August 2018 didn't beat September 2014 in terms of highest minimum rating or highest maximum rating, which are other measures of happiness. Nevertheless, it proved to me that my internal ability to be consistently happy had not been permanently disrupted by external events between late 2014 and now (even without any psychological stabilisers). So the reason it hasn't remained that high is entirely due to external uncontrollable factors bringing it down.
