2016 - The Year of Awesomeness

The year I was left to go into the Real World for the first time. 2016 was dry and boring, and my career fell off a cliff as soon as I had finished the PhD and I had to pick myself up by my bootstraps. However, it did accomplish some milestones, such as the proof that overperfection does not require other people, the completion of my practical driving test, and the introduction to the world of work and regular driving. In bad news, there was a major scam and the death of a close relative (the Captain).

2016 was the first year ever to achieve a minimum rating above 50 (last year's minimum was exactly 50 so it made sense that improvements would continue, but Nature may yet throw some more spanners in the works in the future).
